What is chorionic villus sampling?

There is no right or wrong choice-only what feels right for each individual family based on their values, beliefs, and circumstances.
Factors to consider include the level of risk for genetic conditions, how the information would influence pregnancy management or decision-making, concerns about procedure-related risks, and personal values about prenatal testing. Healthcare providers can offer guidance, but the final decision always rests with the pregnant individual and their partner.
